What is Zenit Awards bis
At Zenit Awards we search for excellence in food products. We look for the best product in three categories; olive oil, goose foie and Iberian ham. These are products where not only the quality of the product itself is important but also the know how, the tradition and the skills of the producer makes the difference.
The award is a price to reward the excellent result of an excellent work with excellent materials, details are important and very often makes the difference. Seeking the best products takes us to different countries and let us meet local working methods that are interesting to compare.
For the olive oil we include all the mediterranean area, from Portugal to Turkey, going trough big producers like Spain or Italy. For goose foie we search mainly in France among the best Origin Label like Sud Ouest or Perigord. Finally for Iberian Ham we search in Spain among their 4 Official Origin Labels; Jabugo, Guijuelo, Pedroches and Extremadura.
Once we choose the best product that deserves the Award we ask the producer to produce a small quantity with its best product for the Zenit Awards company so we can propose these products to a very few consumers in the world. Only people that can really appreciate the excellence of the work and the final product.
